Welcome to F3 Workout Timer. By using our mobile application or website (located at f3timer.com), you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Description of Service

F3 Workout Timer is a free workout timer built for F3-style group fitness workouts. Key features include:

• Configurable interval timers, including station-rotation, simple, interval, and freestyle (open-ended) modes.
• Spoken and tone-based audio cues to keep a group workout on pace hands-free.
• Synced timers, letting one device host a session that nearby devices can join by scanning a QR code or entering a join code.
• Optional region, roster, and music playlist management tools for group leaders (admins).

2. User Accounts and Authentication

You can use the core timer features without creating an account or signing in.

• Admin Access: Signing in with Google or Apple is only required for administrative features, such as managing regions, rosters, and playlists.
• Anonymous Use: Joining a synced timer session and submitting feedback or smack-talk suggestions use anonymous authentication behind the scenes — no named account is required for these.
• Authorized Domains: All authentication requests are processed through our secure domain, app.f3timer.com.

3. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

• Roster Data: Group admins may enter member ("PAX") names and workout locations to organize their region. This information is intended for use within your F3 group and should not include sensitive personal information.
• Submitted Content: Feedback and smack-talk suggestions you submit may be reviewed and used by admins to improve the app or its content library.
• Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including secure cloud storage and encrypted connections. However, no cloud service can guarantee against all forms of data loss, outage, or service interruption.

4. Physical Activity and Assumption of Risk

F3 Workout Timer is a timing and cueing tool only — it does not supervise workouts, provide medical or fitness advice, or evaluate your fitness for exercise. Participating in any workout, whether or not you use this app, carries inherent physical risk.

• You should consult a physician before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing health condition.
• You are solely responsible for your own safety and for exercising within your own physical limits while using this app.
• F3 Workout Timer, its developers, and any group leaders are not liable for any injury sustained during a workout timed or cued using this app.

5. Prohibited Conduct

By using F3 Workout Timer, you agree not to:

• Submit abusive, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate content through the feedback or smack-talk suggestion forms.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or eavesdrop on another user's synced timer session.
• Attempt to interfere with the app's security features, including our reCAPTCHA Enterprise and App Check protections.
• Modify, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.

6. About F3

"F3" and related terminology refer to F3 Nation, a free, peer-led men's fitness movement. F3 Workout Timer is a PAX-built tool for use at F3-style workouts and is not an official F3 Nation product.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

F3 Workout Timer is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that timing cues will always be perfectly accurate — always use your own judgment during a workout.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
